D. 1861, by the convention of delegates from the States of South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana; and that North Carolina will enter into the federal association of States, upon the terms therein proposed, when admitted by the Congress or any competent authority of the Confederate States.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Done at Raleigh the 20th day of May, in the year of our Lord 1861. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"padding-right: 40px;\">W.
