The Sumter Light Guards have a white Brass Band numbering \u00a0about fifteen members. The Brass Band of the Albany Guards number about twelve members. \u00a0The latter is composed of colored performers, who show to a highly creditable advantage, while \u00a0the former, for the length of time they have been organized, cannot be excelled. From this city \u00a0the two companies took up their line of march for &#8220;Camp Barksdale&#8221; at 6 o&#8217;clock, P.M., and are \u00a0now in comfortable quarters, where they receive the smiles and hospitable greetings of the \u00a0ladies. This alone should make them pass the time in joy and pleasure. . . .
