I went to Ship Point to-day, and made the acquaintance of Doctor McClellan, (brother to General,) and Surgeon General Smith, of Pennsylvania\u2013both agreeable men. Our army have done a wonderful work here, in the last few days. They have built a \u201ccorduroy road&#8221; all the way to Ship Point, eight miles, through a most dismal swamp.
