T. J. Coleman, who has just returned from a trip South, informs us that throughout the counties of San Augustine, Shelby, Sabine, Jasper, &amp;c., provisions are very scarce and that corn is selling at from three to five dollars per bushel. He paid five dollars for himself and horse, for one night&#8217;s entertainment at the hotel in San Augustine, and very rough fare at that.\u00a0 The crops throughout the region he traveled looked promising. The season thus far has been unusually propitious, and if it continues, there will be an abundant yield of breadstuffs and fruits.
