Saw Maj Watt and called at the residence of Gov Chase. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He<\/span> was not at home. Today have nearly finished packing up. It has been the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">National<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Fast<\/span> day, business suspended all over the City &amp; stores closed. Julia has gone to stay with Matty Hartly.
